IMesh: International Collaboration on Internet Subject Gateways
IMesh is an international initiative with the aim of supporting
communication and collaboration amongst subject gateway providers and
related parties. Participation centres on the following activities:
The IMesh Toolkit project aims to
develop an architecture and software toolkit for distributed subject
gateways. The project is funded under the NSF/JISC International
Digital Libraries Initiative. The project runs for a period of three
years starting from 1st. September 1999.

IMesh Workshops
The First IMesh
Workshop was held at Warwick University in the UK from June 2nd to
June 4th 1999. The workshop was organised by the Resource Discovery
Network Centre (RDNC) on behalf of the IMesh initiative with JISC support.
The First IMesh Framework Workshop as reported in D-Lib Magazine.
