This site provides a biography of Aristotle (384-322 BC),
an ancient Greek philosopher and scientist. A reference
list is given, together with links to other mathematicians
working at the same time, and links to information on Greek
astronomy and the history of the theory of general
relativity. The site is part of the MacTutor History of
Mathematics archive, School of Mathematics and Statistics,
          University of St Andrews, Scotland.

Online gateway to global criminal justice research
resources and Web site of the World Criminal Justice
Library Network (WCJLN), a US based coalition of criminal
justice information specialists whose mission is to
“develop specific ways of sharing services and
criminal justice information on a global scale”. The
gateway collates links to a wide range of online criminal
              justice resources including library catalogues,
              publishers’ catalogues, bibliographies, online
periodicals, new publications lists and statistical
              resources. The “library catalogues” section
offers advice on finding library catalogues on the Internet
and provides a collection of links to global online
catalogues arranged geographically by country, such as
Australia, Canada, Germany, Sweden and the US. The
              “statistical resources” section comprises lists
of annotated links arranged by country and to, for example,
the Japan Statistics Yearbook, Japan Information Network
Statistics and the World Factbook of Criminal Justice
Systems, Japan. The “new publications” section
publishes recent accession lists from a selection of major
criminal justice libraries such as the National Criminal
Justice Reference Service (US), Rutgers University Criminal
Justice/NCCD Collection and the University of Tuebingen
Institute of Criminology. A further section titled
              “Criminal Justice Links Annotated” lists
annotated links to governmental and institutional sites
world-wide, again indexed by name of country listed
alphabetically. The site also provides information on
upcoming conferences and on members and membership of the
              WCJLN.
